About you

You are a passionate solutions architect with experience working with digital agencies or consultancies. You will guide the customers on their journey to finding solutions that create value for their businesses.

You will be part of a team of software developers who work daily with clients, projects, and challenges of all kinds. You will act as a bridge between our customers and our teams (technical/creative/performance), creating technically feasible and commercially viable solutions. Therefore, you are nice and collaborative and enjoy a good laugh at work.

You are constantly learning, exploring, researching and proposing continuous improvement solutions.

We build on the MACH architecture, Which means:

• Microservices: Our APIs consist of micro-service runtimes that “talk” to each other, and our integration layer is built on Azure Functions.
• API-first: All our solutions are API-driven, where the front end can deliver the best possible user experience on top of the underlying APIs.
• Cloud Native: We use Azure to access the latest cloud services, such as message queues, API gateways, and Function Apps.
• Headless: Underlying CMSs are used in a headless format, and the CMS does not dictate presentation.

Your day-to-day at Novicell

• Provide a best-in-class experience to our customers.
• Determine business requirements.
• Facilitate scoping and technical workshops with clients.
• Serve as the owner of the technical delivery of the solution.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements of web solutions.
• Project estimation of solutions of any size.
• Work with the design and development teams to produce websites from concept to completion.
• Be willing to jump into the hands-on development if/when required.

You are our Solutions Architect if...

• You have experience working in agencies or consultancies.
• Proficient English level. You will work for the UK team from Spain.
• You are a listener. You want to understand our customers as much as our technical and creative teams.
• You are a communicator. Brief our technical and creative teams with enough detail to deliver the solution. Communicate with our customers with the correct level of technical detail to not overwhelm them.
• You are a translator. You can explain solutions from one business vertical and relate them to another.
• You have failed and can show what you learned. You have succeeded, and love to share what you did.
• You are aspirational. You have a passion for delivering outstanding solutions.
• You love the internet and its technologies, new and old.
• Tech Stack and Architecture: Our development team works with the following tech stack, so you must have experience in the following:
  • Excellent .NET Core / C# skills.
  • Working experience with any CMS (preferably Umbraco)
  • Experience with Azure cloud (Azure web apps, Blob storage)
  • Setting up and working with DevOps deployment pipelines.
  • Some experience with Docker containers is preferred.
  • Experience with any modern search technology (Elastic Cloud, Algolia, or others)
  • Composable Architecture: Knowledgeable in designing and implementing composable systems that leverage modular, interchangeable components to deliver and build on flexible, scalable architectural patterns.
  • MACH Principles: Proficiency with MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) architecture, ensuring solutions are adaptable, efficient, and future-proof.
  • Experience in integrating various APIs and SaaS services.

We have colleagues in Valencia, Sevilla, Málaga and Tenerife. So, as long as you are based in Spain and have a working permit, that’s fine for us.
